Boating Basin Food Street is the landmark of Karachi, in the area of Clifton block 5. A Pedestrian Bridge was a need for the residents and for the users who visit from far away which would help the people, easily cross the busy road in the peak hours and get to the other side. 

The bridge uses an Under-Slung Truss System, and two steel piers which support the bridge from the middle. The material used for the structural system of the bridge and for the shading system is Steel whereas, deck is designed of Treated Lumber, which is resistant to extreme weather conditions. The facility of ramp is also included in the design for the easiness of disables.
